Hey Golf Nuts,
I don’t know how many golf instruction books I’ve read, but it’s a lot! Too many, actually, as I look back on my mercurial golf career. But The Anatomy of Greatness is the runaway winner, in my humble opinion. Published in 2016, it’s been around for a while but I had never even heard of it. I know, hard to believe that The Head Nut wouldn’t know about this book, isn’t it? Well, it’s true. And it truly is, by far, the best I’ve read.
“Why?", you say.
Well, let me tell ya!
The biggest reason is that Brandel answers every single question I’ve ever had about the swing but could never find an acceptable answer. I guess Brandel thinks like me (scary thought!)
He breaks the swing down to its bare essentials at every stage, and validates everything he writes by sharing in words and photos the swings of the past greats.
Check it out (if you can find it)!
It may well be The Secret.
It was for me.

thanks for that. At this late stage in life I am not into changing my golf swing(I've done that enough) but I'll give this book a whirl.
My three best golf books about playing golf:
How To Play Consistent Golf - Tom Kite - 1990
Ken Venturi's Stroke Savers - 1987
Lowest Score Wins - Erik Barzeski & David Wedzik - 2014
If it helped The Head Nut then it will do wonders for me….a struggling 24 handicapper
