Golf Nuts,
I just came across this outstanding video of the 1973 U.S. Open at Oakmont. It was produced by the USGA with narration by the late, great, Pat Summerall.
The coolest thing for me wasn’t Miller’s 63…I’ve seen other videos that did a great job of revisiting that incredible round. And yes, modern professionals, it was much greater than the current 62s and 63s in other majors because it was done with real golf clubs and golf balls that actually go crooked when you make a bad swing. But I digress.
Enjoy this great film!
